Located in a rural mountain area, the hotel offers a peaceful environment. the spacious and clean rooms and bathrooms have a beautiful view of the mountains. the staff is friendly and helpful, with ample parking. Breakfast is excellent, and the dining room is beautiful and spacious like a lounge.
The hotel seems to have few guests, creating a somewhat abandoned atmosphere.

The best breakfast buffet we had at any of our hotels - wonderful selection of different breads as well as the usual meat, cheese, cereal, yogurt, fruit, eggs etc.
Parking spots were a little limited. We often seemed to get the last spot available if we left the hotel and came back.

Everything, just excellent. Very friendly owners.. Traditional style hotel in the mountains in an extremely convenient location. We stayed here because we wanted to visit Neuschwanschtein castle, but our favourite part at the end was our stay in this hotel and the sightseeing we did in its region.

Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and could see the castle ruin lit up at night from our balcony. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the staff was so helpful to us since we don't speak German. It was delicious! Breakfast was wonderful! Everyone on the staff was very attentive and made us feel welcome. The Romantik Krone was our favorite hotel on our trip.

The hotel was clean and well managed.
We felt that what the hotel was not quite worth the 84 euros we paid for a double. No elevator, the furniture was old, there was no flat screen tv ecc. Almost every room had a balcony, but we did not. Breakfast was average.

The temperature of the room, which was too warm and could not be adjusted. However, the friendly owner provided us with a solution.
